METAL OPTIC PIN

The metal optic pin combines the strength of a steel blade and the brilliance of a fiber optic strand inserted through a channel along its entire length. There is no loop to snag in brushy terrain and the strength of the half-moon shaped steel blade supports the fiber optic in the event of an impact. The metal optic pin’s entire housing is machined from a single piece of solid steel, eliminating the fear of stripping threads or total breakage experienced from plastic pins of the past. Brightness is enhanced to the aim points when the K9 models are equipped with approximately 14 inches of additional spooled fiber optic per pin, strategically located to rear of the sight head. The revolutionary metal optic pin provides uncompromised hunting in rough, brushy terrain and virtually eliminates the need for replacement pins.

HORIZONTALLY ALIGNED PINS

Toxonics metal optic pins are mounted horizontally in two rows for close pin gaps, long yardage view, and “gapping.” These double rows are angled inward to bring the aim tips into a single plane for perfect alignment. The resulting geometry ensures the vertical alignment of the aim pins while having the aiming advantages of a horizontal pin.

OFFSET EXTENSION BAR

Toxonics' sights are equipped with the extension bar machined offset downward. The mounting holes are countersunk from both sides enabling the bow hunter to reverse the bar for an offset upward. The resulting “flip” of the mounting bar offers the archer additional yardage to compensate for things like long risers, high or low anchor points, or the ability to center the pins in the aim ring for a better view. This also makes the bar ambidextrous for right or left handers.

TOOLLESS GANG ADJUST

Machined aluminum knobs and lock levers provide ample locking power to this two piece spring loaded unit. The two piece design allows the dovetail clamp to remain at 60 degrees and 100% of the locking pressure is applied to the sight. A spring loaded washer secures the sight for adjustment when unlocked, prohibiting it from falling out and losing your mark while making adjustments in the field without the use of tools.

MAGNIFICATION OPTION

The benefits of magnification are the most overlooked of all Toxonics’ features. The market trends are toward smaller pin diameters for increased accuracy through more visibility of the target, especially at longer distances. It is far more effective to increase the size of the target through the use of magnification while aiming with a pin diameter that is far brighter and more visible to the eye. When it is desirable to cover less of the target with the pin, magnification is the most effective choice over the smaller pin. Other benefits include the increased visibility of low lying branches and picking clear shooting lanes. Simply put, magnification is all around increased visibility of the target and its surroundings. Lenses are a high quality ground glass with an antiglare coating and are removable for those situations where magnification is not desired. Pinguard and lenses may be purchased separately and added at a later date.
